I'm sorry :( my mom's dad was preyed on by the church when his schizophrenia was developing, and my mother ended up in your exact situation as a child. She is heavily affected by it to this day. I'm sending you love and compassion 🩷 You did not deserve that :( Hopefully the monsters in this world (they lurk on most corners, much more prevalent than one would think), and the systems that create them are one day fixed or just erased.
