actual confession bc atp I think my insecurities are actually inferring with my day to day life got all ready to go out today drove 15 min to shop downtown then kept catching my reflection in the windows and got so sad I drove home! 🙂

i like to remember that humans were never meant to see ourselves - the only reflective surface naturally created was water which distorts and ripples an image in a beautiful way. we created mirrors and cameras, we were never meant to have the ability to judge ourselves. mirrors and cameras are imperfect and do not show who you are: studies say that if you saw yourself in real life - you wouldn’t recognize yourself. i’ll bet you’re beautiful, more than you’d ever believe
