
demisexuality isnt the standard because there isn’t such a thing as a “standard” for how people experience attraction, people just feel how they feel. and allosexuals can feel sexual attraction prior to forming an emotional attachment, and allos are normally considered the “standard” in our society (if that’s what you meant)
this wasn’t meant to be snarky/argumentative btw, I’m mostly clarifying that attraction can’t be standardized since it can’t be controlled. it’s what people do with that attraction that’s standardized, which is why people normally don’t express sexual attraction to their partners until later on the relationship
