It may not be daddy issues but maybe that your dad made you feel secure and took care of you so now when looking for a partner, you are attracted to those traits and such. Guys around the age of yourself may seem immature. Older guys (depending on how old you’re talking) seem to have their shit together a little more, hopefully established in their career and are able to provide a little more security than the guys around your age.

i do have daddy issues 😭 but i think there's also smth to be said about how you feel desired as a woman if an older man likes you, in a validation sense. like "i must be so special" type thing (which they def use that to manipulate you...) could just be that it makes you feel safe
