As a black woman the constant questions & comments about my hair is exhausting. Genuinely just leave us alone 😒 yes my natural hair is long. Yes I also like to wear extensions as do many other races. No my hair is not a wig leave me tf alone !!

As someone with the straightest hair known to man and who is very curious about the differences, there is always the internet to ask instead of a person

yeah fr it’s genuinely so annoying. The constant policing of our hair is weird. Like why are you examining my scalp to see if my hair is real. Why are you randomly touching it like I’m a dog. Why do you even care. & then when they find out it’s real they refuse to believe we can have long hair. It pisses me off. 😭

Feltttt I just bought a wig and I’m hesitant to wear it to work tomorrow because I don’t feel like dealing with the comments.. sigh

My hair is tailbone length+thick asf+healthy and other black women irritate TF outta me when they say “you should stop wearing wigs”, “why do you wear wigs when you have allat hair?!??”, “I would never wear a wig if I had allat hair!”. Like I wear combless+glueless wigs as a protective style! Even when I tell them that they try to nag me and be shady it’s so annoying! I don’t take advice from people with shorter hair than me so I just ignore their suggestions tbh.

I’m bald. Also not black or female. Nobody rubs my head (thankfully), but there are definitely some people who could get away with it if they did it. Sometimes it’s about who does the deed.

You don’t have to say many other races if you dont preface with your race or gender
