American sailors were enslaved by the Barbary States who used the Quran as their reasoning. Took Jefferson sending the U.S. navy to stop it, btw.

God exists so suffering shouldn’t either doesn’t track. God is omnipotent and has given humans free, if no bad things were to happen it wouldn’t be free will, humans have the choice between good and bad. ppl choosing bad doesn’t then mean that God doesn’t exist. + the slave bible took out over 90% of the OT and 50% of the new, and i’m not even christian

What about the flood with Noah’s arc? He flooded the earth bc it was filled with evil men, our world has clearly an immense amount of evil ppl why not flood it again?

in my religion, it was a local flood to punish the mockers and worshipers of idols to save Noah and his followers. it was a consequence specific to the time and people who wanted to destroy Noah, it would be constant destruction if God were to send a flood everytime His followers suffered injustice. (not my perspective) i know in christianity God promised not to send the flood again to give ppl the chance of repentance
