Different strokes different folks. I just think the idea of competition is silly. Dating younger women is harder because they have more and usually better options because of their youth and beauty. Older women do not and they created this shame tactic of competition as if it’s truth lol

And 18 yr olds do not have more options. They don’t even have set career plans at that age. They’re also more likely to be fired than a long standing employee. I just don’t understand that logic behind that statement

I’m talking strictly about dating. Idk why you’re bringing up employment 😭 the 19 year old girl has more dating options than the 35 year old woman. OP was saying that the 35 year old man can’t compete so he’s resigned to dating younger and that’s just not logical or how it works

Sure, but that’s not the case when we’re talking about people who haven’t developed their frontal lobe quite yet. They’re bound to make stupid life altering choices. No amount of investing can change the path that they must follow to become themselves

U just said most men would go for a 35 year old (no kids) that is an important distinction lmao. A lot of them have kids or baggage. Again, I don’t even care about the age thing that’s not what I’m here to argue. It’s strictly about dating and who has more Options. A 21 year old woman has way more options than a 35 year old woman, therefore it’s more competitive to date her than it is the older. THATS MY ONLY POINT

I’m not going in circles. I never said invest into a woman. A woman can be responsible for her own looks. Pay attention. At least the 35 year old has already figured out who she is. You can’t see if you’re compatible with someone who doesn’t even know what they want out of life yet. A 35 year old is much more likely to know already

That’s an over generalization as well. Not every 35 year old woman has children. Also many 21 year olds have kids too. Then there’s also the added layer of stress bcs the person hasn’t even experienced life yet. Whereas someone who has kids at 35, likely experienced their 20s freely. Choosing to have a preference for people who haven’t had the chance to figure out who they are yet and calling it an investment is just strange.
