
therapy isn’t for everyone and not all therapists are a one size fit all. it is important also to go into it with clear expectations, if homework isn’t helpful to you then you need to be open about that. also, the biggest thing about therapy is your willingness to go along with professional opinion and to do the work. if you’re not able or willing to do that then you need to be honest to them or find something different. the ultimate goal should be whatever you want it to be
