Life feels so monotonous these days it sucks. Work, school, gym, homework repeat. I feel truly lost and nothing is really helping. Any advice will be great.

Gotta go out and do things outside of your routine. Even if it’s little things like taking a walk in the park, exploring a new coffee shop/areas, anything! Find a hobby, try new things

I don’t have any advice because I’m in the same situation and it seems a lot of other people are too. So I guess just know you’re not alone in this

A hyperfixation on some obscure or common hobby.

Start writing everything down in a journal like to do lists, how angry you were someone took your seat, literally anything and blast some cool ass music while you do it to pretend someone is gonna make a movie about it some day

You’re definitely not alone in this. It sounds like you might be battling some depression. You just gotta keep looking for things that excite you, or even scare you. Get a new job. Go ATV riding. Learn something new. Life is short, don’t be the side character in your own story.

Ok, very random but trust me, pick a color, EXCLUSIVELY look for that color each day, change the color every day, you can wear that color if it will help but that’s optional, it got me out of my bad depression in high school

Kinda in the same spot, but I feel like having goals to work towards helps. I have career aspirations that I want to get to in a couple years, as well as personal goals of making more friends and finding a community in this new place I moved to 6 months ago. I feel like that helps.

I’ve been budgeting out parts of my paycheck for the Lego fund. Been building and modifying botanical collections. My other hobby is staring at fish.

Like say you pick green, when you are outside look for green, and I’m not saying leaves and grass, spot the green gum wrapper on the floor, notice your coworkers green glasses, see the green sticker on your water bottle. You don’t have to say anything about it, and I can’t explain how it works but it works
