Based on a discussion I heard: So if a woman gets raped its pretty obvious she should decide herself wether to keep the baby or not But.. What if a man gets raped? Can he decide to keep the kid regardless of what the rapists thinks/wants?? Thoughts?

We shouldn’t set the precedent that it’s okay to force someone to give birth OR abort, even if that person is pregnant via SAing another. Male victims in these circumstances are rare, but they should have the ability to never be legally responsible for/recognized as the parent of the child. Courts should also immediately seize custody of the child if born, as it shouldn’t be left in the care of a predator.

It’s still her decision to have the baby as it’s her body. forcing someone to have an abortion would NEVER fly in any states. His name should be left off the birth certificate tho and he shouldn’t have any financial responsibility

As a woman I believe that he should have a choice in that. It was an unconsensual situation. The problem I believe would arise in how to make that a rule people have to follow without it being used against women.

that happened to my bf when he was 15 by some 30 year old woman. the only thing I know about the kid that resulted was that he has absolutely nothing to do with it and he doesn’t have to support it or anything. which honestly I’m glad about because my sweet boy does not deserve to have to deal with a kid he didn’t consent to having. he’s 19 now and doing much better if you ask me. I love him so much if I find whoever raped him… it’s gonna get ugly real fast. she better be afraid
