Do it. You get out of it what you put into it. Really listen to what's shared and taught and interpret it as you need. Find the meaning that helps YOU heal. Just utilize radical acceptance, throw yourself in, follow the rules, view it as a separate world of healing. Then it's genuinely helpful af, and not unpleasant.
Ppl get fucked up bc they resist the process, refuse to participate, want to live how they were living on the outside, not following rules, not listening, being a contrarian, etc etc Just scope out the place you're going to before you go. Check for REALLY bad reviews and shit, really research and read up on it.
I was forcibly admitted to a REALLY shitty psych facility. Like horror movie shit. And ykw? The experience was actually super helpful and healing. I made the best of it. I learned a lot. And I'm extremely glad I went. The most valuable thing about the experience is the ppl you meet in there/the stories you hear
