i genuinely feel so miserable knowing there’s not much i can do to help gaza or stop anything, like i can talk about it and raise awareness but it’s been so long of the same stuff & nothing has changed. my heart hurts every single day thinking about it

as a neutral in this situation, my heart aches for the innocent lives lost on both sides. but such is our world, unfortunately conflict is inevitable. if only people would learn to fight with words rather than violence 😔

Genuine question: why neutral?

Genuine question: why not neutral? (Not being condescending either)

reiterating the other reply, why not? i personally have no ties to either side and thus do not gravitate toward either of them. also, one side is led by terrorists who started the war, and the other seems to be on the offensive more recently (which frankly I believe is not entirely unreasonable from their perspective, considering their statehood is at stake). regardless, all war is evil no matter who it’s between and i pray for the innocent lives lost on both sides. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Like if you take the time to learn about the history of the region, it shows how comically evil one side is, like if you’re neutral it just comes off as cowardice to me.

the fact that i can’t tell which side you’re advocating for just by reading this comment tells me everything i need to know to be neutral. the truth is, either side would say this exact thing about the other, and without context it’d all sound the same. at the end of the day we’re all human and no human is created evil; some just grow to be more misguided than others. i’m a neutral because i don’t support further senseless killing and war between humans who are ultimately the same.

I think you just need to stop being a fence sitter. It’s ok to have opinions

oh i’m totally with you in that people should have opinions, and i do: my opinion is that both sides should step down, recognize each others sovereignty, and exile any and all terrorists (looking at one side in particular, admittedly). is it really that hard to respect each other and coexist?

No, but one side is an instigator and is committing genocide
