I wish it was that simple 😬 the best advice I can give you is to 1) see if you can figure out when-ish the symptom started and see if you think the timing matches up with you having felt sick just a bit prior, and 2) mention to your doctor that you’re having a lot of trouble thinking clearly, emphasize that it’s messing with your ability to function, bring up the covid part if it feels at all relevant to you, and see what they recommend

I have actually noticed that I feel a bit sick along with it. But I noticed my sleep is also not that great and after taking a nap and showering I felt better

personally I found that [legally-prescribed, taken as recommended] adderall makes a significant difference for me. since I also have ADHD it’s hard to tell for sure whether or not the mental clarity boost is actually related to post-covid brain fog, but I’ve heard from several other people diagnosed with long covid that adderall has helped them too. it’s just very difficult to get even a trial-run prescription for that without the ADHD diagnosis since it’s a controlled substance

oh, if you’re dealing with new fatigue then that could definitely be relevant! what I mean though is, if you can, think back to when you first noticed the brain fog. and consider whether it’s possible you may have been infected with covid just a little bit prior to then
