No it’s just sassy and colloquial language. This is not a confession btw this more of an opinion based off of one “bad” conversation experience.

I understand that people mean it in a gender neutral manner, but as a trans masc person, I really hate it when people call me girl. I never say anything about it, but I seethe inside

Jeff Probst getting rid of “come on in guys” on Survivor because one MAN thought it was sexist is emblematic of the downfall of society.

it means they were likely born female/raised as a girl and are transitioning towards something more masculine

hey so it's actually crazy to tell a trans person they aren't really a man just because they don't like being called "girl"

Genuine question, why transition? Why not just be a tomboy or a masculine female?

some people have a thing called "gender dysphoria" where they have a sort of mental anguish over being perceived as a certain sex/gender. internally they feel like they should be one gender but their body presents as a different sex that misaligns

Girl shut up. Yeah, I know it’s a me issue, that’s why I never say anything about it and I take it like a man

Because I’m not a tomboy or a masculine woman, I’m nonbinary

I am simply not a woman. If someone forced me to live life as a woman I’d kms. I’m very happy being nonbinary and transitioning and I’m truly living my best life

. . . If you are nonbinary then you quite literally aren’t taking it like a man.

Everyone missed the part where I said I never say anything about it! Never in my life have I told someone not to call me “girl”. In fact, I call other people “girl” all the time! I say dude, bro, and girl to people of all genders

Tbh in ur situation I can understand. Living as a trans person is already tough AF. Being called girl prolly feels weird due to it also often being used in an oppressive manner towards trans men/masc ppl. If u told me not to call u girl, I wouldn’t. That reason is much different than a cis man not wanting to be call girl bc he looks down on anything associated w women/fragile masculinity lol

Transphobia coming out in full force today, huh? Someone shares their feelings about the nuances of language and gender and you call them an insecure little bitch while disrespecting their identity. If that’s not projection, I don’t know what is.

for future reference, when someone’s being deliberately transphobic on here, just report their post rather than paying attention to them for it. it felt really fucking bad to see that that garbage was sitting there for several hours and accumulating over a dozen upvotes without anyone else actually reporting it

I’m not it’s just basic truth, just because my comment is not validated by the general public does not make my claim invalid. If you want approval for your bad manners and lazy language, I can understand why you chose this platform to express your opinion.

if you believe in the year 2026 that IQ is a universal, objective or even somewhat reliably effective measure of functional intelligence then you are not a serious person

Jfc I wasn’t being transphobic, i am a man and I don’t mind to be called girl. This flaunts insecurity and call it conformity

nah you absolutely were, you literally pulled some “not a real man” shit it’s great if you don’t mind being addressed as “girl”, but you also didn’t spend the first 15+ years of your life being constantly labeled as one against your will

How is this even an argument? It’s completely open ended. I don’t place my entire faith on an IQ test, I don’t think anyone would ever do that unless you’ve never been exposed to other indexes of human intelligence. Even newspapers had dedicated pages to this but in a form of entertainment. If your entire arguments are based on speculation and no claims, then you’re as just as naive as the original poster, maybe far worse.

you’re the one who called the OP “low IQ” as if that means something, homie. so which is it, do you already know better than to take that metric seriously or do you have to play “erm, source? ☝️🤓” because you aren’t actually familiar with the case against it?

I’m not playing anything, I’m just calling out bs. I said a common phrase used in casual conversations on social media, “bait or low IQ? Call it”. I say it due to how the op has decided to articulate their arguments. I’m making fun of the matter this is not about me believing in one indicator or about IQ tests. Which kinda begs the question, bait or low IQ? Call it. Amusingly, it’s still rhetorical 😂
