Lowkey never heard that stereotype, pretty sheltered, did they think the service was bad or like just didn’t want to tip?

Unfortunately it’s a thing for a long time. Had friends in the industry all say that same thing. What’s new to me is seeing a few clips on YouTube, TT, etc. from black servers who say they also don’t get tipped from black people.

I am glad to hear you do too. As we all should. But I had fellow white friends who didn’t tip early on. Only noticed when they pay cash. I’m was glad to put my separate tab and tip on a card. It’s embarrassing to assume ppl are that inconsiderate in your group.
