Wait sorry if I’m being ignorant but why can’t you drink on your period?

And that’s why I got rid of my period (jk I have endo) but the drinking bloat sucks ass. I had one drink last week and looked 6 months pregnant- even my bf of 3 years was shocked

Period bloating is painful, and worse with alcohol bloating. And i can’t take pain meds with alcohol in my system

Yeah I was throwing up blood from having vodka shots (3) and an ibuprofen during the night. That was literally all it took.

How’d you get rid of it? I abhor getting my period, it’s so painful and it gives me extreme anxiety

I talked to my gyno about really painful periods and GI issues like bloating during mine. Even before I was diagnosed with endo I was put on a dual hormone pill (works great for some, some hate it) but I just take the pill every night without doing the placebo week.

They were pretty quick to give me that as an option and ive been actually able to live my life for the most part. i dont get periods but a little spotting, but its not a true period. Id recommend it tbh. It’s super easy to get off of if you decide it’s not for you. I noticed ZERO side effects.
