I do understand the religious "don't play God" viewpoint and the ableism/eugenics viewpoint against CRISPR, but my viewpoint is I had a hard enough life and my whole life is to make my kids life easier. I'm not gonna let them be born with a solvable issue

I think I would rather gene editing than pre-natal screening which to lead to abortions, that feels way more eugenics-y to me.
