After 22 years of life (and 17 years consciously) I hunted for info on my dead birth father who I never met and found my grandparents even though I’ve been searching since 2018 and suddenly found them. And now they want to call and meet me. Idk how I feel

This is so fair, are you planning on meeting them? Or do you still need to process and gather your feelings first?

I think I’m gonna have to gather feels for sure. They said they’ve been looking for me all this time but only found dead ends… but idk.

I get that. If it makes you feel better I have been in contact with my birth mom since April of 2024. Still haven’t met in person yet. Sometimes it’s just takes time to gather your feelings and get all the necessary information to know when meeting them is the right time for you. But good luck and I hope if you do meet them that it goes well!

Thank you so much. It’s cool that you understand, makes me feel less alone and shocked to consider that others have had the same. They live in TN and I live in PA. So we will see !
