Im 20 and my step mom is 3 years older than me. She’s really nice, but we have more of a sisterly or friend type of dynamic and honestly it’s so weird. Like I’m happy for my dad I guess and again, she’s nice, but wtf.

Age gap relationships are often this way. Older men seeking women who have trauma and they prey on it being that perfect dad. On the flip side, younger women can prey on older men where the men have trauma and the younger woman plays the perfect girlfriend they never had. No one wins.

I’m not saying that he is. You said younger people don’t prey on men. I am saying that predators can exist in all forms and for some reason you don’t think that exists. Elder abuse does happen which why laws are there to protect them like a child too and by saying that you default into thinking it’s justifying him when it isn’t.
