It’s actually people that are doing that. Not the faith itself. People interpret the readings and are influenced by other people.

I agree, it isn’t a good thing at all! Which is why US politicians in power who call themselves Christians yet their actions shows otherwise worries and angers me. But let’s not forget people who have actually been great examples of a disciple and have been a light to the world. People like Florence nightingale and Mother Teresa have both shown this in their own ways. So like #3 said, it’s not the faith
