100% factual. it isn’t about the monetary value you bring, but the effort you bring to the relationship to make your partner feel like royalty. a complete asshole can bring anyone to an expensive meal and the most their date can take away from that is a a nice meal. anyone can buy that for themselves, meanwhile real connection and effort towards knowing a partner and showing they care is priceless
