theres a kitty that lives in the ditch at my apartment ive finally gotten it comfortable around me but im soooo scared for it during the storm i want to bring it in but it very obviously has an infected eye and i dont know if it has anything else 💔

Go to the gas station and get one of those styrofoam coolers. fill it with blankets and towels and put some food in there for it. Give it new water every couple hours so it doesn’t freeze

Or, if your local humane society does tnr, see if you can take there, they usually will provide medical care if needed for either free or incredibly inexpensive (that’s how we got my cat’s shots and whatnot)

If you have an extra bathroom you could also isolate it from your cat in there if you’re comfortable, or call your cat’s vet to see what they recommend. Tons of options tho
