It’s specifically a spin off of Young Sheldon Fun fact about Young Sheldon, the actor for adult Sheldon (Jim Parsons) wanted to make a show about his nephew, but when he pitched the idea everyone said “he sounds like the young version of Sheldon” and thus, Young Sheldon was born

Ngl I liked young Sheldon much more than big bang Theory, mostly bc it was a single cam comedy. I was excited for Georgie and Mandy’s bc Georgie was a really well rounded character in young Sheldon and that story was genuinely lovely, plus seeing Mary change into how we saw Sheldon’s mom in bbt after George Sr’s passing was a promising character arc. Then they made it a fucking multi cam sitcom with a laugh track again. Which I like! Don’t get me wrong! But didn’t want for this
