lmao yes they did she has ginger hair. they didn’t go with literal bright red bc the colors are generally a little less saturated than the original bc they’re not, yk, a cartoon.m

the logic isn’t that it has to be realistic lol just that it can look too campy if you color it like a cartoon when the whole part is to bring the story some visual realism. the equivalent for animals would be giving them huge eyes and dramatic human like expressions

all this just kinda goes to show the live action is never gonna look exactly like the cartoon but that’s kind of the point it’s a reimagined version. if you go into it lookin for a one to one recreation you’re setting unrealistic expectations
