The 4 is a timeless design, one of the best looking phones ever still. This is before they figured that out

How? The 4 shifted to the sharper edge look instead of the curved one. That was quite annoying at a time when the phones were smaller.

Not at all. The phones getting bigger causes the corers to dig into the palms a lot less. Plus more comfortable but also protective phone cases are a lot more common now than they were back then.
