Let’s be serious for a second: real rape accusations don’t even ruin men’s lives. Why would false accusations be any different? Universities have a responsibility not to cover up rape cases ;)

Tell that to all the student-athletes who got booted from their school for even just having accusations that were false

wdym it doesn’t ruin their lives? their reputation, friends, family all get hurt by it. It js unfair to them and everyone else around them to even have to think of the possibility that someone they know might be a terrible person. Please never even try to outweigh or play off a person’s feelings or trauma, that genuinely isn’t the way to do things.

Mike Tyson. Ronaldo. Bill cosby. Kobe Bryant. Ben Roethlisberger. Jameis Winston. Fucking Donald Trump. Brett Kavanaugh went through the most nationally publicized sex scandal and still became an SCJ. Pete Hegseth settled with the accuser and signed an NDA. Some of these allegations were never proven, some resulted in convictions, some resulted in settlements. Whether true or false, an accusation does not automatically ruin a man's life. Stop lying

OP, you’re on crack. You listed off a ton of men with INSANE wealth and power. To the average person, a false accusation can derail years of hard work or a genuine family. I understand it’s hard to speak up in the moment, but waiting YEARS to say something and then changing your original claim is damaging to real victims and lets real rapists off w/o issue You are horribly unaffiliated with the real world.

You’re horribly unaffiliated with facts. Her statement said with “100% certainty she was raped” every change to the original claim is coming the DA’s summary. That same DA is now claiming he never received a report to his office. You want to talk about changing the story, bring it up with the man who failed to rightfully investigate the case. And the whole “years to say something” is because women are never believed anyway. Why would the timing matter? You still wouldn’t believe her

And if you’re dead ass going to sit here and say they got away with it because they had money, then don’t act like frat boy rapists at an Ivy League school won’t either. Pick a struggle

Buddy, you’re conflating two things that have no correlation. Either stay mad or wise up. How do you think politicians stay in office so long despite all the horrible things they’ve done?

No they do have a correlation. These men at Ivy League schools are the same people who go on to become SCJs and politicians
