Why do people hate Amber from Invincible? I’ve been watching the show and my assumptions about her character from the fandom made me think she was annoying and overbearing but she’s genuinely so real and chill asf. I loved how they handled that plotline

Her as a character is great her as a gf to Mark not so great. At the end of Season 1 it kinda even is a little manipulative but maybe I was reaching, other than that season 2 she’s great. After that we don’t see her wish we did like she’s working with Super Heroes in some capacity

I guess. Her complaints are valid, she still STAYED with bro and tried to make it work. She was extremely kind and career focused while still being social. Even her fears were genuine valid and I related to them a little. Like she’s a very well balanced and cool character that had zero hard feelings with Mark from what I’ve watched so far. Idk why she’s so hated 💀

To be fair the whole point was them trying to navigate new relationships in general. The whole time during season one I kept thinking “she better than me” cuz frankly I would have left Mark on the spot. Not that Mark is terrible but it’s reasonable for anybody to be upset that their partner ISNT being a partner. She’s better than Lois lane and other superhero girlfriends that’s for damn sure. But their relationship was cute ngl, but it ran its course

You should watch up to the newest season, one thing I like about invincible is everyone seems pretty grounded most of the time. Though the latest season how they treated Omni man feels like it was forced by the plot
