Some folks don’t respond because they don’t want the pressure of being seen as an asshole. But like not telling something the truth about how you feel is pretty scummy too. Avoidance is not a virtue.

I do get busy but I also voice that before just taking off for hours. Or if I’m feeling overwhelmed and need a quiet moment, I voice that too.

I theorize that if they thought you were physically attractive to begin with, they likely still think you’re hot, they just see that either you’re not their type, emotionally, or they think they’re not good enough for you and ghost you bc they can’t bare the thought of being ghosted. It’s so hard to not take it personally or not be mad at them, been there done that
