How do I tell my boyfriend that I want him to go workout again. I love him and he isn’t “fat” fat but I miss his old lean body and I don’t think I like the slight dad bod look. Do I ask him to go to the gym with me? He thinks I go too often though

This is a man posting about his girl gaining a few. You’re not slick buddy. Love her for who she is and hope she don’t see this

leave him so he can find someone who appreciates him the way he is and who doesn’t feel entitled to try and shape his body based on their own preferences

Asking him to go to the gym with you is probably the best bet, it’ll probably make it more fun too for you both

Not a man. Not a man. NOT A MAN. Why are you types of women so hateful towards other women? Pickmes. I can absolutely ASSURE you I’m a biological WOMAN and I’m genuinely GENUINELY seeking advice in how to communicate with my partner. Like, how do I prove it? Because I GLADLY would and I want to.

This isn’t “the way he is” He went through depression (It’s over and he is fully better now) and to be blunt it’s time to recover HEALTH WISE from it. Like I said he isn’t fat to that point but he is NOT healthy. He consumes a lot of sodium and meats like pork almost daily.

Not a woman. Not a woman. Not a woman. But fr I thought you was a man cause what you posted literally sounds like a something a man would say. Anyway what would you want him to say to you if the roles were reversed. There was someone that needed that convo and I never said anything till we parted ways. Literally similar situation to yours, depression, better now… I’d like to know how is a guy supposed to approach this for future reference.

Btw if it was me, I’d want a straight up convo, with a warm light touch to it. Might sting but I’m sensitive and someone that loves you wants the best for you yk, they won’t let you hurt yourself just to not hurt your feelings

“the way he is” in the literal sense of “currently, at this moment”, not in terms of whatever his “natural state” is supposed to be. you already made it perfectly clear in your post itself that your motive is about what kinds of bodies you’re attracted to, little late to play the “I just want him to be healthy 🥺” card
