When I lost my virginity I ended up getting HSV-1 genitally. The man that gave it to me been with other women and got tested regularly and wasn’t with anyone else a year before meeting me. He didn’t know he had it. I’ve never felt more shame with myself

I wouldn’t feel ashamed. It’s a natural desire and it just happened to be an unfortunate circumstance. Good news is you’re still here, you’re safe, and you learned a lesson. Plenty of lessons to learn in life and it’s just another way of learning.

oh i am so so sorry. this is not your fault, okay? and your life isn’t over. there is still so much to live for than your status okay. god men rarely do test themselves to be honest and that is so so so bad

Yeah I tell myself many times. But it’s ruined the way I see myself. Def something I need to work on. He pressured me into it and I gave in. So that was a cherry on top to the shame.
