Tbh I do think black people have a overtendency to just claim anybody with a dark or different skin complexion to be black but after looking up who clawdeen is she is definitely a black woman. I’ve seen that happen too but u have to keep in mind there isn’t a lot of good black representation that isn’t just straight up caricature so I don’t rlly blame people for trying to find connections to themselves in characters. like if we had good poc representation then there would be no need for that. it’s the same thing for like when ppl got mad at Ariel being black. there is one main black Disney princess while there are multiple white ones, like white ppl already rule over the rest of us
