i usually just go "pay me something worth being happy about" and hold out my hand. does not get me cash but does get a chuckle or a glare and they move on

I usually just ignore the comment or go “okay” bc if I say something back it won’t be very nice

Omg I use to be a cashier outside during the summer and the heat would put me in such a mood plus the long lines and rude customers I hated when men would say things like “ hah well you don’t look to happy you should smile!” I srsly couldn’t help myself to just be like “alr sir have a good day. 😐”
