Yeah, I’m also an Uber driver, so my schedule has been packing from 10pm-3am, eating 3-4am, and the working from 4:30-9:30am to catch the rush in the morning of people going to their factory jobs, morning flights at the airport, etc. and going to bed at like 10am. I have watched the sun rise every morning this week.
Yeah, and nobody can shit-talk me for sleeping until 5pm either. I’ve been productive, just not at the same time as most people. I’m sure if my neighbors saw me having a post-shift beer at 9:45am on my porch, they prolly thought I’m a drunk who wales up and has a beer. That’s clearly not the case. But I’m crossing the country for good anyways, so who cares what the neighbors think atp?
Yeah, I just graduated with a degree in political science, but in the South, where it’s way too red for me to find a good job I actually wanna do, and my girlfriend got into law school in the Pacific Northwest, so I’m gonna go up there with her, get a job for some progressive politician as a speechwriter or something while she goes to law school, and then I’ll apply to law school with that politician’s recommendation once she’s graduated as a lawyer and making lawyer money. Shit is gonna be good
I’m too left-wing to work in Southern politics, but I have a degree in politics from a Southern university, so I’m crossing the country to work for someone I can actually get down with while my girlfriend becomes a lawyer. She applied exclusively to schools in progressive areas so I could find a job like that while she went to school, and then I could get a good recommendation + in-state tuition if I worked there for 5 years and then went later. And then we could be partners of our own firm.
