Men are more jealous because through all the history of sexually reproductive animals, males have had to worry about raising someone else’s offspring more than females have

And that divorce typically benefits the woman more and that courts typically lean more towards helping the woman

the courts lean more towards helping the rest of the family as child care typically falls under the woman, most men think the mother is better at domestic duties. Why would you want to leave your child’s mother in the dust?

You do know that statistics show single father household kids show better academic success, emotional intelligence, and overall happiness as compared to single mother kids. Also marriage benefits the mother specifically because in the event of divorce even with a prenup the mom can get more than half the father’s assets and child custody so then he has to pay child support on top of that. Then who knows if she will even let him see his kids
