This is actually a studied phenomena, because dopamine can't be sustained people tend to stop putting in as much work once the initial obsessed love fades. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

You can’t give your all, all the time. If you’re pursuing someone you’ll be doing more than once you’re more settled down with them. That’s not an excuse to be romantically dead, you should still be regularly doing things to make each other feel wanted, but the circumstances bw the two points in a relationship are just different where people are more obsessive initially

I did that in my earlier relationships. Mostly bc I started to lose interest and didn’t have the heart to break it off

Putting in love and effort is a choice. Voice that to your partner that you still expect or want those gestures you got at the start. If they aren’t willing to provide that then they’re not the one. It’s really a choice.
