I’m actually severely depressed and severely lonely, I am considering therapy but I worry they will just dig deeper and make things worse so I spend more money

Honestly I have this. Might I suggest something that’s helped me personally? I’m not claiming it’s right or it’s helpful, buts it’s helped me A LOT with minimizing the noise. And at the very least it might be part of the puzzle. Ask ChatGPT: Ask me comprehensive questions one by one to understand why I am depressed, and then give me writing prompts so I can explore these ideas and then rewrite the narrative. Or something like that :3
