Semaglutide, sold under the brand names Mounjaro, Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy, although it is an antidiabetic medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes its misused as an anti-obesity medication—- i think one has bigger problems

And they only approve semaglutide if they actually think you have a problem/you’re rich anyway. Which is difficult to convince them of for both top surgery and semaglutide

Yeah its all tough to get yk… persistence is key but using a 🤡 emoji to refer to this is so dumb dude—-

it’s the normal technique for top surgery if you opt for keeping nipples and if you’re doing DI! the nipples are removed and grafted back on

that’s a healthcare issue 🤷 both should be covered imo and it sucks that semaglutide isn’t but that’s no reason to be upset about my personal insurance coverage

No bc they can cover a literal cost of a surgery instead of a medically necessary injection to help with weightloss. ESP when you consider the long term effects of obesity on both the person and being a productive member of society. Need vs a want… and Covering therapy or mental help/ counseling I would understand but a whole surgery bill? Wtf.

You need mental health counseling not surgery friend

i’ve been going to a therapist for almost 10 years and i received letters of recommendation from a therapist, psychiatrist, and surgeon for my surgery. apart from dysphoria, my chest is large enough to cause back pain, and i know people with smaller chests than mine who have gotten reductions that have also been covered by insurance. i’m sorry, and if it makes you feel better my nipple grafts won’t be covered 🤷

I really think the desperation for attention is very clear here and it’s tmi. This world is so quick to affirm people who are gender questioning it makes me sick. God made you you and He loves you as you are. I wish you could love yourself as you are too. There’s nothing wrong with you and you don’t need to change to be accepted.

You are ignoring the extensive time they took to figure themself out, as well as the RECOMMENDATION FROM MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. I’m not religious but if your God is merciful I’m sure he wouldn’t want his children to be in pain. No one deserves to live in discomfort and misery their whole life just because you don’t think their life saving surgery is unnecessary. You do not understand what being trans is like, and you are being way too loud for how ignorant you are.

This person does not hate themself for how they were born, they love themself enough to advocate for their needs and shape their body into a more comfortable form.

Medical professionals are happy to profit off of people’s insecurity. God doesn’t make mistakes. There is great sickness in this world and society grooms people to question gender nowadays. It’s a sad fact. So they can make money off of your depression and mental state when you are unsure
