the idea that a certain type of person would be definitively “out of your league” is somewhat of a myth imo. at least in terms of appearances. sure there are definitely plenty of people who let their desires be dictated by conventional beauty standards and peer approval, but most adults are more likely to have their own “type”s rather than thinking of attractiveness as like, something that can be ranked in an objective sense
