So I started with a calorie deficit and since I started my initial journey in the late spring/early summer, I got to do light cardio (walking, light jogs, and swimming, which you can swim any time of year, I just hate paying for a subscription if all I’m doing is swimming) I then put myself on a real diet (in my case, vegetarian with high proteins—eggs, beans, protein bars, and protein shakes) and started incorporating weightlifting into my workouts I’m now at the stage where I can put more—

—calories into my diet while still keeping the intense workouts, especially since I now work a job where I’m on my feet all day and have to lift shit for over half my shift
