They’re toxic. And I don’t even talk to my boss beyond “hey, how are you? Good.” She just decided I was her favorite. But you see how you just ASSUMED I was a kiss-ass!

I’m saying the way you jumped to me being a kiss-ass, my coworkers do the same. Even though they know I barely talk to her. I will say, I NEVER gossip or talk bad about anyone I work with. I avoid it because I never want to be implicated in any “he said, she said”

Maybe they are joking then if they know that and you’re being sensitive. Just because someone says something, doesn’t make it true.
