Until women start having this much outrage about the uniforms in the WNFL… all the hate for Sydney Sweeney just seems like propagated hate because wdym all of sudden now women in sports are portrayed bad? They been portrayed bad this whole time

I mean I see both sides. Like the reason why season 2 of Ted Lasso meant so much to me and other female athletes is bc the female athletes were not sexualized and we saw the full human spectrum of beautiful, athletic women. But also she’s not an athlete and she can sexualize herself as she pleases

I mean… there are women athletes out there with OF pages. But we don’t see outrage for things like that like we’re seeing for Sydney Sweeney doing an ad for a sports gambling app. It’s just wild how selective to outrage is and how it doesn’t apply to every aspect of women in sports
