I have the stupidest answer in a world history class once and the professor responded in a tone like get a load of this idiot Pretty much nobody in the class ever knew what the answer was besides this one handsome guy who always did the reading and knew his shit

It was some question about an advancement in sailing technology and I got overexcited and said some remarkably dumb shit like durr uh they could move the sail back and forth I think I just felt bad nobody ever answered the guy’s questions and my body shot my hand up faster than my brain or mouth could come up with an answer that made any sense at all
