“Go to therapy” they said. “It’ll be good for you,” they said. Tell me why the clinic is only just NOW telling me apparently they don’t accept my insurance and slapping me with a superbill for the full cost every session I’ve had… literally fuck this

After doing research about it, apparently you can appeal this situation but it is legal 🙄 I have them my insurance, they said it was okay, months of sessions go by, then they hit me with the “um actually, you’re out of network, here’s a $1000+ bill.” Like do you want me to want to die more are you fucking serious

That’s crazy, idk if we appealed or something else, but when I was younger I was in the ER and they sent me a doctor that was out of network, even though the hospital we were at was in network, then tried to bill us like $8000. I know my parents had to fight it and it almost went to court, but we ended up either not having to pay it or getting a refund

Manifesting that for me too, but idk if I can bluff them with court. I’m just so tired

This should be covered under the no surprises act actually, and your state may have additional protections. Idk the exact situation you’re in obviously, but there’s a good chance you’re protected here
