Sorry if this is a bit insensitive but, I feel like when you match with someone on a dating app, it’s not cool to hide that you’re Trans until later in the conversation.

Most trans people will tell the people they match with they’re trans, but it’s usually not safe to just put it in their profiles these days

Ah so it’s a safety issue then? Then it’s understandable not to put it on their dating profile, but I do believe it to be a first date topic.

As a trans woman, I do agree. I’ve read stories of trans women who have been attacked or raped just from having trans on their profile
