1-2 lbs per week is totally possible and healthy depending on your starting weight/BMI. You need to eat fewer calories than you consume. You can do it with that alone, but it’ll help if you also eat healthy foods, high protein (keeps you full longer), and fasting. Don’t eat after 8pm or before noon. Give yourself an 8 hour window for food, but far enough away from bedtime that you’re not sleeping with a full belly. Cardio is going to also help. Cut out sugar, high fructose corn syrup, alcohol.
If you start losing weight NOW you have about 9 weeks an 2 lbs per week would get you to 18 lbs total lost. So then you know your goal. And if you only lose 1 lbs in a week you know you have to make up that extra pound in the next week or two. Losing 2.5 per week or 3 in a single week. Pushing harder during that period.
