It's actually insane to expect someone to nonstop text you throughout the whole day. ESPECIALLY someone you just met. Y'all have severe, crippling phone addictions 😭

YES. Texting has been a curse to this generation. They don’t remember a time when we didn’t have 24/7 access to someone. You’d have to wait days to see them irl, hours if you were lucky enough to have their home phone or email. Texting is supposed to be a convenience! Not a DUTY! If I feel obligated to respond 24/7 or I lose you, I’m being inconvenienced!

Yeah it’s dangerous esp if the person on the receiving end is still naive. They might even feel wrong for not replying every quarter hour or so

Thank you for posting this, I needed to read this. Sometimes I get anxious when he doesn’t text me RIGHT away, then I need to remind myself “He has a life outside of us.” Thank you. 🙏🏻

Dude fr. Every time I've met a new person lately, they've been WEIRD ASF about texting right off the bat. Like within one day of knowing eachother, they're on my ass about response times and shaming tf out of me about a few hours in between messages Like WHO EVEN ARE YOU??? WE PROLLY COULD'VE HAD A BEAUTIFUL friendship or romance, but you ruined ts within a few days bc of your crippling phone addiction 😭 like that's a you problem, don't put that on me

Phone addiction or severely anxious attachment styles. Go yell at your momma for not hugging you enough not me for not texting you instantly!
