24 year old here. Never had a relationship, and I still live at home. I have a great job and make twice as much as I used to....but I still can't afford shit in this economy.

I'm 26. I had to move back in w my parents, I didn't graduate college until I was 25. However, I'm currently in a masters program and work 2 jobs w high level positions! I have a friend who's married with a house, but she hasn't graduated college yet or started on her career. I have a friend who's married still lives at home, no job, didn't graduate. I have a friend who still lives at home, hasn't graduated yet, but has a career job. I have multiple friends who are just chilling in the service-

i'm 22 too and still working on my bachelors. i have plenty of things i want to do as a job, but it feels impossible to pick just one for a career. the only reason i don't live at home rn is because im in a dorm on campus out of state, otherwise i live with my parents on breaks. i've been single for a few years now with no end in sight. we're young - we have our whole lives ahead of us! this won't be forever. your 20s are a transition period :)

Industry Basically Everyone moves at different rates And rn, everyone's on a brutal lag. Due to COVID time loss. Plus all the shit going on rn and how fucked the economy is, job market, and society in general. Oh the 'housing shortage', rent being a billion dollars, etc

i have some friends who have their bachelors and are starting salaried jobs. they live with roommates. i have one friend with like three jobs who lives at home. i have a friend with an associates who works full time but wants a new job bc she wants a higher position, she lives with her bf. i have single friends who live at home, older and younger than me. my sister is 27 and she's looking to leave her current job and go somewhere else that will fund her phd, she hasn't had a bf in ages.

my point is - dont worry about it :) you aren't behind! everyone takes a diff path, college or no, relationship or no, living at home or with friends or alone or with strangers, apartment or dorm or house, unemployed or 1 job or multiple jobs. you'll figure it out and change your mind a million and one times and it'll all be okay🩷
