genuine question but why not just go out with a best friend? to me a lot of dates you can also just do with a friend with no romantic or sexual intentions as long as both of you are clear about it

Dates should be for fun period. Dating culture these days is so sex obsessed I hate it (no hate to op at all)

!!!!!!! — Idk what your sexuality is but I think it’s harder to find straight men who don’t just want to hu. Queer ppl even just like homoflexible guys in my experience are more open to nuanced dates and having fun with no promise of sex
