I think intelligence is relative. I may be super smart, but I know nothing about repairing a car. If a car mechanic told me to shut up because I didn’t understand, I wouldn’t be offended. In that circumstance, the car mechanic would be the smart one. He is good at his job based on his own merit. But idk how to apply this society wide

Ah yes, keep the voting population stupid so we never change leadership and the rich control everything forever because it’s easier to manipulate a bunch of idiots than to organize them into doing good for themselves.

Some sort of “Turing” test that proves you’re able to solve problems and think critically.

You can only make something so accessible before it starts hurting people at the top. The people at the bottom will always find an excuse not to study.

We can’t expand education access because the political parties in power don’t want us to be educated. We need to stop the cycle somehow. I vote for putting dumb people in forced schools with no rights until they’re not dumb anymore

So you’re telling me someone who can’t study or refuses to learn should vote on very sensitive and controversial topics? I can “teach” a man to fish but if they refuse to learn he’ll starve not me.
