In non western countries women have it way worse. In western countries it is about the same. Socioeconomic status, parental influence, physical attractiveness are much more important. A rich attractive male and a rich attractive female have relatively similar lives. The only major difference is women fearing for their safety… which is a pretty big one to be fair
